Egg Allergy and First Immunisations

Hi my friends daughter is 6 and has an Epi-Pen as has severe reactions to egg and dairy products. She now has a new baby and is concerned whether the first set of immunisations contain any egg products (incase he may also react). We couldn't find any info re egg content on the immunisation website, it just talks about egg allergy in relation to the MMR. Is anyone clued up on this?
Many Thanks

MMR jab no longer contains egg. DS has an egg allergy and he has had all his jabs (plus Chicken Pox), none of them contain egg.

Agree with above - my LO had his first one at the hospital (and promptly threw up over the nurse) but his booster at the Surgery as they no longer contain egg.

Ditto- severe egg allergy here and DS has had all his normal jabs at the GP's as current thinking is that even the MMR is safe as the egg stage is so far removed from the final product that there is no risk (consultant's words not mine!) HTH x

Hi there, My son due his pre school boosters and has a severe egg and nut allergy. reacted to whooping cough part of vaccine but they tell me its all changed now. Can anyone confirm this is safe? Many thanks

PP- Ds booster letter just came through and my GP won't do it as Ds suffers with anaphlyatic reactions to egg nuts and fish. They said to contact consultant at hospital.

He had is mmr in hospital but have been reading up on things and it say's its safe for him to have booster.
