Aptimil pepti 1

Hey Mums!

My daughter is 9 weeks and has been put on Aptimil Pepti 1 for 4 weeks to see if she's possibly got an allergy. We are day 4 and she's still screaming in hysterics after every bottle, she squirms with pain passing wind and the bowel movements are literally flying out her. My gut is telling me to just buy Neocate and start her without any milk proteins but I'm scared I'm going to mess up her body even more. Can anyone give me some positive advice, is this normal when first starting aptimil pepti? I'm just exhausted and want a happy baby x

I'd just get the neocate and save yourself and baby the pain.

Someone else said this to me! I'm gonna do it, just hope a chemist has it in stock.

Fingers crossed. I had a cmpa baby and I remember how awful it is. They suggest the hydrogolised formula first because its cheaper. We suffered 6 weeks with it because we didn't realise we could just buy it
