Itchy dry skin

I've started to suddenly get dry itchy skin patches on my back, under my boob and above my bottom - was diagnosed for ringworm for the under boob issue and prescribed Daktarin which helped but the other areas don't look like ringworm - I've just had my 70th bday and have always until now had good skin - help!

DM (similar age) has just spent weeks suffering with intense itching on her back. The Dr told her to apply Cetraben cream 5 x a day, which seemed excessive to me, but it has given her a huge amount of relief. She now just gets the occasional itch when she gets overly hot, but it has mostly gone. Worth a try.
