Dry bedroom - Humidifier Help!

So I live in a 30 year old Barrett home. It’s a rented dorma bungalow and I’ve lived here 10 years.

My wife and I sleep in the attic conversion and it’s exceptionally dry. We wake 5-6 times in the night for a drink with a dry tongue. I use daily eye drops, I have to use nasal spray and every humidifier I’ve purchased with 2 litre capacity (under £50) just dries out and doesn’t last the night.

My question is.. how the hell am I supposed to support the life of a newborn in a next to me crib. 🤣

i need ideas on a decent humidifier. Budget is £150. Has anyone had a similar experience…
