5 month old - is this CMPA?

My baby girl is 5 months old and has a lot of mucus in her nappies. She also grunts & writhes when she's drinking (breastfed) and wakes every hour or so at night. Another thing she has is a hacking cough which happens every couple of hours without anything happening, but like she's coughing up phlegm when she does cough.

However, she is a very healthy weight (91st percentile), has nice skin and a very happy temperament all day.

I'm unsure as to whether the above points towards CMPA, or whether the mucus and frequent wakings are normal?

Any advice would be much welcomed!

Not the symptoms of my dc with cmpa, but I guess you could cut it out for a month and see if it improves. Remember to also cut out beef and soy products to get a clean reading.

Thank you for your response. Yes, you're probably right in that I should give it a go.

Anybody else experienced these symptoms?
