Hi, baby on Neocate for 5 months now, previously on aptimal, then got diagnosed with CMPA due to rash, mucus poo and generally unsettled. Started the milk challenge yesterday as per dietician , one scoop of aptimal in morning bottle. She has been settled, but this morning a rash appeared on her belly and a slightly mucusy poo she is teething as well so there tends to be mucus in poo. But no other symptoms. Do I continue or class this as a fail?

The thing with challenges is you have to wait till the baby is well. So preferably not teething. With the rash I’d count it as a fail. How old is baby? Normally you’re told to wait till after 12months and then follow a ladder - which I’ve never heard of including formula. Normally it’s baked in something etc.

Totally agree with Badgers. I've never heard of trying a Milk Ladder when baby is not feeling tip top already or hadn't reached 12 months.

And I would count this as a fail too.
