Looking for advice on my sons skin.He is now 2 but since he was one he started getting these puss filled spots on his chest and back. every month they seems to come and go, and each month they seem to be getting worse and has now spread to his legs and arms and sometimes he even gets a small cyst somewhere on his body. we’ve had many dermatology appointments and special clinics but no one can tell me what it is. swabs have been taken and bloods, even an immunity test has been taken and has all come back clear. we’ve tried to eliminate foods, i don’t use anything other than non bio fiary gel for his clothes and he eats very healthy diet. all his body wash products are also approved by dermatologist. a couple of times at the begging he was give antibiotics to help with the cyst and has cleared but comes straight back and same with the antibiotic cream. it does seem to sort of clear up on its own with nothing used not fully but about 90 percent but comes straight back after a couple days. i’ve had an appointment with a dermatologist today who thinks it might be folliculitis and has suggested a 6 week course of antibiotics but i am hesitant to put my son on such a long dose and worried for his gut and anything else it will disturb. has anyone ever dealt with anything like this? any suggestions any ideas would be really helpful also any opinions on this long treatment ?
