My 3 yr old finished a course of amoxicillin last week. A day after the last dose it was like a switch had been flicked. She went from a happy, confident little girl to a terrified panic stricken child. She kept suddenly starting to scream, run around screaming monsters were after her. This happened about every thirty minutes, day and night. She was absolutely terrified. We took her back to the doctor and asked if it was a reaction to the antibiotics but they said no and are currently testing her for a urine infection But I feel it was something to do with the meds. She is calming down now after a week but is still having the odd moment. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?
