Taking antihistamine before skin prick test

I have a skin prick test today and last night I had a drop of piriton, will it affect my testing? Should I reschedule?

just to clarify, I was giving my son piriton and he knocked the spoon out of my hand and a tiny splodge landed on my leg so I put my finger on and licked the drop of piriton off so I wouldn’t have a sticky drip down my leg. I know it sounds gross and I should have wiped it off instead but I didn’t have a tissue nearby and I just hate that sticky feeling because it dries really quickly.

I feel so foolish now because I’ve been waiting for this appointment for over a year!

Not for a drop, no. That’s a miniscule amount

I don’t think one drop last night would affect it. The dosage for piriton for adults is 10ml every 4-6 hours. One drop, and I assume it’d be well over 12 hours ago now, will have worn off by now.

A drop shouldn't be a problem and Piriton has a shorter half-life than most other AHs.
