Recommendation - the perfect nut-free holiday

Hi
I've just returned from a week skiing with Mark Warner.

Normally holidays with my son (who has a severe nut allergy) are really difficult with him having only a very limited diet compared to his sister and friends BUT this year Mark Warner put me in touch with the hotel manager who worked really hard to organise my son's meals with me: arranging a separate kitchen to prepare his meals with a dedicated cook to ensure no cross contamination. The nannies all got extra epi-pen training, they warned the resort Doctor that we were in town.

All in all it was just the most amazing and wonderful holiday. One I couldn't bring myself to imagine having ever again since C started to go into anaphylaxis at the sniff of a nut.

So the amazing resort manager is going to do Mark Warner in Tignes next year (ask for Shonagh's hotel) and I think she's hoping to take the chef we had this year with her as well - so if you want a care-free holiday it really is worth the spend!

Blissed-out!

wow that is good service

a separate cook and kitchen!

I would be terrified my son wouldn't eat the food they specially prepared for him tbh.

We always go self catering because of ds' allergies but I will look at Mark Warner next yr.
Glad you had a great holiday.

HI the nannies and the restaurant staff were all briefed about C and introduced to him so he ate nothing that hadn't been checked - I was wary for the first day or so but after that trusted them way more than I do my own parents or my MIL!
