my little girl is 2 months old she’s currently on Hipp organic bit of a back story we suspected a milk allergy as she was very unsettled at 3 weeks old and her bowel movements were never normal and sometimes had blood we tried aptimal pepti 1 and sma Alfimino an I didn’t see a difference she seemed to be so much worse so it’s hard to believe she has an allergy as she’s a lot more settled on this milk but still has moments of inconsolable crying and today her poo was very seedy and abit mucusy and she also has abit a rash but she’s not long has her 8 week injections so I’m putting it down to that. Can anyone give me any advice should I try the diary free formula again for maybe longer or is this poo normal.

trigger warning poo photo included sorry 🤣

My daughter (EBF) had nappies that looked very like that at a similar age. I was worried because I found my older daughter feeding her bacon rind after turning my back for a few seconds a day or two before! She only got a suck or two in but I was worrying about bacteria and salt and all the rest.

However the GP and Health Visitor assured me that she was fine and it did change to look more normal after a little while. She has no food allergies or intolerances and has actually been very healthy most of her life. Just weird nappies for a few weeks.

I suspect the vaccines are probably causing the rest. They can make babies a bit miserable and under the weather for a while. And when they're so tiny their digestive system is still adjusting to being used.
