Reaction to strawberries?

DD (2.3) doesn't have any allergies as far as I know. She's normally well, and has been physically sick only three times in her wee life. She wasn't even a sicky baby!
Two of her vomiting incidents have been after eating quite a few strawberries. Both times she's been fine after she was sick. However, she has no red rash, and is fine in herself after she's had them. She's also had them at other times without being sick (although probably not in such large quantities).
Anyone else have this? Should I avoid strawberries with her?

No personal experience, but strawberries are one of these things that lots of people can't cope with.

It's difficult to say whether strawberries are to blame for these two incidents. What is the other end like? Is she have runny, smelly poos?

One of my DDs had problems with orange juice when she was a toddler. In the end, it was better to avoid it altogether for a few years. She has grown out of it now.

She was sick last night, which is why I'm posting. Not up yet but chattering in bed so seems fine. Last night she did poo at the same time she was sick. A bit runny, yes.

Will avoid for a while I think then maybe try her at a later date?
She eats strawberry yoghurts all the time. Must be something in the fresh fruit that disagrees with her.

just seen this and DS is the same. we have only recently put two and two together as he was always sick after calpol and any strawberry yogarts. GP thinks that he has some kind of intolerance (not allergy) to strawberries and has just told us to avoid them. from what i understand its quite common that berries can cause this in children.
