Birthday Party Food Ideas Egg Free

Hey.
I’m hosting a party for DS’s 5th birthday at the end of the month, expecting around 30 kids, with parents, and around 10 family members, so 70-ish people, I’m used to catering to that amount, so not worried about that, it’s the kids party food that has me stumped.

One of DS’s best friends has a severe, anaphylactic allergy to egg. Another, like my son, is lactose intolerant, and we don’t eat pork.

Any ideas for exciting party food options? I’ve ordered the cake from Egg-Free Cake Box so his friend can have cake with the rest of the class.

And have sorted a few platters of sandwiches with fillings that accommodate all the requirements, but aside from hummus and pita/crudité, vegan sausage rolls and pasta salads (egg free pasta- no mayonnaise) what else can I feed a bunch of 5 year olds.

Mine are all quite adventurous eaters, does the average kid eat olives? 😆 Any biscuit/treat recommendations too? Other than Oreos and Party Rings?

I’m doing a big curry and dhal for the adults with all the usual accompaniments, so I suppose some of the kids will have some of that, but want to make sure there’s plenty to keep everyone happy.

TIA

Vegan based options at least exclude egg and dairy? You could add meats if you wanted to:

Par baked rolls / baguettes seem mostly to be egg and dairy free, so you could bake a pile of those fairly quickly and be sure of low contamination risk?

You can get plant based (so vegan) Philidelphia type soft cheeses now, that's good for dip bases or sandwich fillings!

Roll fillings -
Chicken and sweetcorn mayo (vegan mayo obv). Buy precooked chicken, chop it up and add tinned sweetcorn.
Peanut butter and jam
Jam
Chicken liver pate (I think it's free of pork, but do check me!)

Vegan sausage rolls?

PETA isn't my preferred website but this is a good list for snack ideas:

Going vegan doesn't mean going without. Many products on store shelves are unintentionally vegan. Check out our favourite "accidentally vegan" snacks.

I know you've probably had your party by now but just in case anyone else is after ideas......🙂

Kids parties need Party Ring biscuits. It's the law 😁
Breadsticks/carrot batons
Sandwiches - hummus, jam, sliced chicken
You can get vegan pizzas too, cook and slice up for pizza slices. Marks and Spencer Plant Kitchen Margherita one is lovely
Edit to say you've already mentioned party rings.
Sigh, it's late (early?!) lol
Jammy Dodgers then
