Sulfites? Alcohol?

Hi guys,
a few years ago I started reacting to alcohol. Vodka, gin, rum, wine all of it really! I would feel like my throat was closing up, incredibly sick, need to cough like something is stuck in my throat and I’ll be sick. Just quite frankly awful! Take an antihistamine and within 20 mins I’m absolutely fine again!
i started to just avoid alcohol then started getting stomach pains from fizzy drinks especially coke.
recently it’s started being random to the point I can’t really pin point what it’s from!
it makes me feel so unwell and sick I’m started to get scared to have things!

I am awaiting a referral to the allergy place ( doctors have referred me) but its taking a while!

I also have asthma which possibly doesnt help! Upon googling I’m wondering if it’s sulfites. They seem to be in some alcohols, fruit juices, fizzy drinks etc!

anybody have experience of this/ sulfite allergy!?

thank you!

I react to sulphites but in a different way.

Coke has a sulphite-ammonia caramel as a colouring.
