Hey guys, my Baby is 7 weeks old and he’s been having a lot of issues with reflux.

He’s on goat formula, I went to the Gp and they prescribed omeprazole i tried this for I week it could see a slight improvement however he was having a lot of trapped wind and diarrhoea.
i went back and they prescribed nutramigen but they didn't tell me to continue with the omeprazole..

when trying the nutramigen baby refused to eat and it was still spitting up due to been thin ? went to the hospital and they told me to continue with this normal milk and add gaviscon.
with gaviscon didn’t see much improvement he was still spitting out however now he was having constipation…

I m desperate for help, I got some carobel for his formula (goat) and it seemed to help in some feeds, the spitting up stopped but it still looks like he’s in discomfort in his tummy , should I use carobel with his formula and omeprazole for the acid, or literally use omeprazole with the nutramigen and the carobel to thicken it ?
I went crazy not knowing if I was doing something wrong tried all the bottles imagined, search all the answers available and I he just kept making clicking sound on the bottle even with passe feeding and it was just to thin I guess

also he got his tongue tie done and his been going to a chiropractor.
If he gets trapped wind can we add dentinox colic drops to the mix ?

is my first baby and he was such a happy boy literally eat , sleep eat sleep now it’s a nightmare I haven’t sleep for 3 days.

If he's still clicking I think it sounds as though he still has a tie, but I'm not trained in any way.

Have a read of this on Tongue Tie and see what you think Flowers

That’s what I thought, he had it done one Tuesday would it be the case where it still healing ?…
would I see a change straight after him having it done ? I have been doing the exercises…
my chiropractor said he’s a bit stuck in his left cheek

Sorry I don't know the answer. You might be better starting another thread in the infant feeding section asking those questions Flowers
