Hi, My niece has come down to visit and basically i've been told she's lactose intolerant and is on Lactose free milk. But have also been told that she has seen a doctor who has said that she can drink skimmed milk and have youghurt? But not cheese and any other milk. Is that possible? I thought that it was all or nothing... she is now 17 months old. thanx adele

Lactose intolerance is pretty rare at this age - normally it's at about the age of 7, from what I know.

Skimmed milk has loads of lactose. Yogurt has a bit less.

It all sounds quite weird.
