how long do you need wheat for before blood tests?

DD2. possibly wheat sensitive (well i think so). long and tedious story.
my query is this.
took her off wheat 2 wks ago as fed up with trying to persuade Drs to believe me. Then had a rethink and managed to get another appt with paediatrician. He's ordered more blood tests - this time for total IgA rather than the TTg that was negative.
so DD2 was only off wheat for 10 days. I saw a difference (she laughed - was happy!)
So back onto wheat since thursday.
How long does she have to eat wheat for before the blood gets done?
DD is now sad again. is feeling sick again and is clinging to me like a limpet again.

I'm not sure if she's only been off wheat for 10 days. Ds2 is back on wheat after 3 years off. I was told he needed 3 months on before a test. Test date is middle of April so he'll have been back on for 3.5 months.

Ds2 is vile at the moment - winding everyone up, can't get to sleep at night and farting for England.

I would have thought she'd still have a lot of wheat reaction in her system, but I don't know! Someone will come along who does know!

I just had the IgA blood test for DS (8mths) - no reaction showed. He'd had such a small amount of wheat (corner of a piece of toast, mostly spat it out, but still showed symptoms of intolerance) for three days before, so I am not surprised. But the Dr seemed to think that wd be enough to trigger a reaction but I'm not so sure. Will repeat the test in a few months time, so will watch this thread.
