I am allergic to nickel. From experience I know that I can wear pierce earrings made from platinum, gold 14ct and above, silver 925, and surgical steel. I cannot wear plated earrings, nor some 9ct gold earrings.
Would I be able to wear stainless steel earrings? Is it the same as surgical steel? Doesn't stainless steel contain nickel?
