Feel like I'm allergic to all hair products!

I'm totally fine with my regular shampoo and conditioner but as soon as I use any product (particularly heat protector spray), I'm itching like I've got a bad case of headlice.

Most anti-frizz serums kick the itching off, as does hairspray. Olaplex nearly sent me to the doctor, the itching was so bad.

I've got such frizzy hair too so it really does need product.

Does anyone else have this issue? If so, have you found a way around it or any products that don't cause itching?

Try solid products. When using liquid shampoo and conditioners I ended up being test for liver disease I itched so much. Solid shampoo saved me and the itchy that plagued by life went completely.

Can recommend specific products as I have a different hair type

Yes. Tried Pantene once. Nearly scratched my scalp raw. Ended washing my hair about 10 times to get rid of the bloody stuff.
