Hi all.just looking for some help/guidance pls. I have a 16 week old boy and I’m lucky he’s a happy little fella but I always thought he had a slight intolerance to formula. Just belly growling, awful wind, pain and later developed silent reflux which now is proper spewing and reflux. He’s still happy little fella and putting on plenty of weight but just can’t relax with his belly and has episodes of crying and pain and discomfort and I just feel sorry for him. I brought him to the doctor numerous times but he’s very much just thinks his gut has to develop and that’s that.
public health nurse thinks there’s intolerance. He’s never had a solid poo, very very loose stool. Can’t get past a 5oz bottle or he’s in agony with his belly and doesn’t sleep at night cos he tosses and turns in discomfort. Can wake for a bottle too cos he’s hungry cos he’s on small feed for his size.
I was going to change to aptimal pepti and was hoping for some advice on this. Am I mad or is this a good move?? Do I wean it into his feed now and I’ve read some things saying is there a thickener to add or something????
sorry for the long message I’m exhausted and need help!!!
thanks

Sorry that you haven't had any responses to this @Morris37.
