Hi everyone. Our son reacted to peanut butter and we're waiting for an appointment. We mistakenly waited until he was older to try it because of his eczema. Now I'm worried he will develop allergies to what he always ate before. He's been tolerating egg and milk products for years. We were giving him foods with dairy during the week as he recovered from the rash. Would the rash have persisted or gotten worse if he was reacting to the milk simultaneously? Why wouldn't his immune system recognize a familiar food? He got what looked like a very minor rash on his upper back after eating a regular meal a week after his peanut allergy. It was all food he has bad before and so we are afraid to give him milk now . Please help. Milk is in everything:( It's frustrating because his rash didn't even itch or cause any discomfort. It didn't look like the hives seen online either so we almost didn't know. Everyone else seems to get really obvious reactions. Thank you.
