I have several allergies none show up spesifically in blood tests although they do on skin tests and they cause a non specific rise in my IgE which is an allergy/inflammation marker in the blood

This site may be of interest and expalin things www.labtestsonline.org.uk/understanding/analytes/allergy/test.html#what

Has the doctor talked a bout a post nasal drip? it can be caused by many things including the sort of allergies like dust mite, pollen, fur... that cause sniffles. What happens is the membranes in your nose get inflamed and excessively produces mucus this drips down the back of your throat leaving you with a constant niggle/tickle and sometimes a sore throat. It is often worse at night although like you I had it night and day.

I was prescribed a steroid nasal spray it worked in 3 days
