When did anyone see a improvement on skin rash in baby’s with cmpa my baby has been on neocate for 4 days and sometimes it still looks like it’s flaring up on her face and body
her nappies have gone back to normal and she seems to be drinking more ounces but she is still A little windy

How are things now @Dbf123?

I think my sons full symptoms went after 4 weeks after being on neocate, HV said it’s normal

It can take upto 6-8 weeks for symptoms to fully resolve, saying that my son was like a different child once on Neocate Syneo , after a few bottles his rash went , reflux improved and he started sleeping through the night ! He was a bit more windy for a few weeks which settled.

He’s just turned one and still on Neocate .

If her rash does not improve you may need to switch to SMA Alfamino. Neocate contains coconut oil which some babies react to

Hi her rash has really improved we have been on neocate for 2 weeks now and saw a big difference more into the second week. Her body rash has gone and nearly totally cleared on her face, the last couple of days her poos have had no mucus and gone a more yellow color although there abit doughy I think do to the gaviscon we use for her reflux and she’s finally back to finishing most her bottles as the wind has calmed down a lot ! The only symptom that seems to be lingering on is the congestion but it’s not as bad as it was x

Also she’s only waking for 1 feed in the night now not 2 as she’s taking more ounces and a lot more settled the HV has said it can take up to 6 weeks for the dairy to completely leave her system but so far the change has been really good

Amazing to read your update !

Hopefully after a few more weeks her nasal congestion will ease .

There’s a Facebook CMPA support group . It’s been so helpful for me x
