Ibs and constipation

TMI for anyone reading... but I really some advise please.

I got diognosed with ibs when i was 17, I'm almost 27 now so 10 years ive had it and I've always suffered with constipation on and off, but I take some movicol for a few weeks and I'm ok. I've never in my life really had regular bowel movements but lately it's got really bad.

My diet has changed as I've been losing some weight, I've lost 16lbs by following a calorie defict but I eat overall healthy, I drink a lot of water, I've been exercising more than ever I can actually run 5k again. Just to give you an idea..
Breakfast - oats with fruit and honey
Snack - fruit & packet of crisps
Lunch - chicken wrap with little bit of cheese
Dinner - chicken veg/slag bol/salmon and veg
Desert - ice cream/biscuit
It's not perfect no, but overall I think I eat quiet balanced but my bowels have never been worse.
I can be constipated for 10 days and I have to to take medication to help me go.
I can't remember the last time I had the natural urge to go to the toilet without taking anything it's been months. I've been to the doctors she just keeps telling me it's my ibs and gave me a list of food that I wouldn't eat, I didn't follow it because there was loads on there and I thought it so unrealistic. Stupid of me I know.

Because on Friday I ended up in hospital because I have hemroids and was bleeding alot from my back passage, but the bleeding started randomly I wasn't trying to go toilet and I hadn't been for a few days either. There was ALOT of blood. So the doctor done an X-ray I had a lot of stool inside me and they gave me laxative and flushed water inside, that helped a little but not a lot. He said not to be worried about the bleeding it was due to my hemroids, the following day I took more laxative and that didn't help me go. So it's not Monday I havnt been to the Toilet since Saturday, most things I'm eating now give me tummy ache, my joints have started hurting, I feel generally depressed, headaches I feel tired, I just feel awful.

I've booked a clonic for 15th July so hopefully this will help.

I'm thinking to start keto as I've read this helps alot of people.
But please if anyone has had similar symptoms and done anything to help pleaseeeee give me some advise.

You need a colonoscopy so please go back to your GP. Bleeding needs to be investigated. You need regular bowel medication like lactulose, Mobicool, cosmocol to get you moving and keep you regular. What are you drinking? You need lots of fluids to flush it though and soften your stools.

DO NỐT have colonic irrigation. A lot of blood indicates damage or possible disease such as colitis.

Can you eat fruit/veg? They'd help with the constipation but I understand they might not suit.

Oh wow ok, I'm gonna call my doctors first thing tomorrow and try and get an appointment.

I eat lots of fruit and veg daily but this does not help me at all unfortunately

Another saying no to colonic irrigation - it can cause damage, especially if you're already in a bit of a state!

I don't have any good answers as I'm in a similar (but not as extreme) situation, but I know I'm better off without gluten. My body seems to class oats as gluten (god damn digestive system) so if I had porridge, then a wrap, the spaghetti it wouldn't do me any good! Although I'd get cramping/stomach ache/sick feeling as well as constipation.

Ohh wow that's crazy you're the first person who said you have similar symptoms.
I'm currently doing a 24 hour fast to give my body a complete break and then tomorrow I'm starting keto and hopefully that may help with the major reduction in fibre.

I've never done a 24 hour fast before but I wanted to give my bowels and body a good break. So far so good I've had no tummy ache all day.
