probiotic powders for babies, which ones and where to buy them?

someone mentioned a probiotic powder you can buy for babies, but cannot find the original thread! does anyone recommend one to use?

abcdophilus- made by solgar and available at health food shops. I've bought some but haven't used it yet- remember to keep it in the fridge once you've opened it

yes- it's ok for babies. says on it suitable for infants and children. It's dairy free and suitable for vegans

Just interested? Why would you need one? I ahve heard it can be useful after antibiotics, because they can kill off the good tummy bacteria - but generally?

the one we use is by biocare - this is the one that was mentioned in the previous thread, was recommended to me by a nutrionist.

thanks for replies ! was thinking of trying it to help with ds's excema. has anyone found that using a probiotic helped? also, have heard it can help boost immunity when babies have one cold/bug after the other.
