Hayfever help!!

I'm 16 weeks preg and would like to know what anyone used in their pregnancy for hayfever. I'm using Loritadine but it's useless.

Any ideas?

I used loratadine as the GP said it was one that was ok to use but it's not the strongest. I think eye drops and nose spray are ok and I find these better when it's really bad!

It's utterly brutal today my hayfever. Seems to be getting worse with age.

It's about as useful as a chocolate fireguard right now. Isn't doing a thing. The nose sprays always work the best but pharmacist was useless today

Does anyone use those red lights that you stick up your nose?

Change clothes when coming in doors, shower before bed, put Vaseline around your nose and up before going outside to trap pollen.
Use a saline nasal spray to help clean out the area (not great but can help with use of above).

Try to keep your house clean of pollen, no opening windows have indoor and outdoor clothes etc.

I bought my son BECONASE 8 in 1 hayfever relief nasal spray.
He takes 1 tab either Loratadine or fexofenadine and uses the spray in the morning and sometimes in the evening too, it has helped him.
Not sure if it's suitable in pregnancy but defo try the spray.

I wanted the spray but the pharmacist was useless. Wanted to see if anyone used this in pregnancy

I used Fexofenidine during pregnancy, after chatting with my pragmatic GP, who flicked through the "yellow book of drugs" with me and listened to my concerns and gave me the "official line" and his "it is completely fine, they just can't officially say otherwise" opinion.

Pregnancy helps the symptoms of Hay-fever, my arse it does.

Has someone used Azelastine Hydrochloride during pregnancy?

It’s an antihistamine nasal spray that my GP advised before pregnancy. I don’t think there’s enough information online whether or not to use it if pregnant.
