My newborn has a rash and I’m sure what to do?!

My 5 week old developed 1 week ago. It’s progressively spread. I’ve spoken to three GPS all giving different diagnoses. Eczema, new born rash or a reaction. I’ve used the cream they’ve given me but things just don’t seem to be improving. I’m a new mum and just feeling a bit lost for what to do. Has anyone had their baby experience similar? I thought maybe it could be a CMPA allergy but the GPs shrugged that off

Also just to add, I’ve not changed my detergent, I use surcare fragrance free, I haven’t bathed her with any soaps etc. everything she uses/ wears etc is as gentle as can be… it’s making me so upset. She has also got reflux

looks like a sweat rash

Poor thing. Not sure but I find GPs often shrug things off with newborns so maybe don't discount the CMPA theory.

Hi Op

dod you get any answers? My one month old has a very similar rash to your picture and I’m getting conflicting opinions?
thanks

Hiya! I cut out dairy completely to anee if it would have an affect and things began to clear up, so i just stuck with that and it never came back. She’s 10 months now and has completed the milk ladder and can have dairy.

So sorry your wee one is having the same rash! Hope this helps/ you find the solution 🙏xx
