Tip for sticking breadcrumbs onto food without egg

I posted a while back asking for ideas, philly was really the only response. That didn't work for me, but buttermilk does - so I can now do fish and chicken nuggets without egg. Yippee. Although obviously doesn't work if your DC has an egg allergy

i don't use anything on fish and chicken, they seem to stick just fine if you're baking on a wire tray in the oven.

my ds is allergic to dairy eggs and nuts... I put melted pure marge on the fish/chicken and the breadcrumbs stick no problem....
