CMPA

Hi,
Just wondering if CMPA sometimes only appears as mucusy poo?
LO is 17 weeks, predominantly breastfed but gets 2 aptamil bottles a day.
No rash, sometimes grumpy but nothing out the norm.
Poos once a day usually, rarely constipated.
Did have a rash but cleared up and coincided with a change in washing powder.
Only symptom is mucusy poo, could it be cmpa?
Thanks

My daughter has cmpa but also teething and colds cause her mucusy poo so I'm not sure I'd automatically jump to cmpa on that alone, unless you have other symptoms or you've had mucusy poo all along. I'd speak to your gp or HV to see what they suggest

It could be a sign but it's usually a sign of bowel irritation which could be caused by a number of things.

Unless he's got a few of the symptoms, like the PP I wouldn't jump to automatically assuming it's CMPA.
