Does anyone else live in a 1940s house, with HORSE-HAIR in the walls, and suffer asthma or allergies?

I looks like I am allergic to my house, or rather the horse hair used in the plaster of my house.

I have had my allergy testing, and despite not been anywhere near a horse for the last 7 years, I am extremely allergic to horse hair the tests concluded. I have had chronic sinusitis for the last 10 years (since I moved to this house) with one sinus infection on average per month, due to allergies.

So, I was racking my brains as to where I am in contact with horse hair, then remembered, we had some building works last summer. The plasterer explained that back then they used to mix horse hair into the plaster, and it was interesting to see such an old wall with horse hair - plaster mix.

So, could I be allergic to the walls of my house?

Has anyone else got experience with this?

Would such old horse haid which is embedded in plaster still contain allergens?

You will have to plaster up all the cracks and any holes in your walls so the horse hair isn't exposed.

I am not aware of any cracks, there are of course picture hook holes, but there are pictures in most of them.
