Wheatabix or shreddies

So my twins are 2 years old and they seem to have loose poops after eating shreddies or wheatabix. Do you think it could be a wheat intolerance or something else

Is it loose or just soft? Both contain fibre so you'd expect soft stools. How big is the portion size?

I had an interesting conversation with a bowel doctor once, he told me that wheat fibre is hard for a lot of people to digest (but doesn’t amount to an intolerance) so to opt for oat cereals as this is easier on this gut. They do an oatabix I believe

Yes, wheat first thing in the morning can be tough on a lot of people's gut, not necessarily intolerance.
A lot of it, I believe, is down to the declining quality of wheat over the past decade.

I don't necessarily give gluten to my kids by serving it to them. It is okay if they come across some of it in parties or gatherings. Gluten proteins are hard to digest and not easy on the gut.

Could be gluten intolerance ir it coild just be a wheat issue.

Are they ok with bread?
