Pepti prescribed but baby worse

Hello all
This is my first mumsnet post and I am really hoping the community here might be able to offer me some advice and support on next steps. Our second DD (8 months) was a generally good sleeper and happy baby for first few months. She hit the 4 month sleep regression hard and after some sleep coaching (basically not going straight to her when she stirred bug giving it a couple mins) sleep was ok (up twice a night for feeds, the odd bad night remix). She was mainly breastfed but had one bottle a formula a day given at bedtime by dad.
.

But then we started solids and it all started going wrong. Lunch Naps in particular were terrible. She would wake after one cycle screaming and not settling unless held. But it was really inconsistent. Then in prep for me going back to work, we transitioned to formula. At this point it completely went to pot. Short lunch naps, waking all the time at night, obviously in pain, windy etc. GP thought poss dairy intolerance so prescribed pepti and she is now worse. Wakes even more. Has anyone else had experience with this? Could it be CMPI or something else? She was fine whilst I breastfed and I never cut out dairy. She has some eczema which comes and goes but no other rashes etc to show allergy.

im now back at work and we are finding the lack of sleep so hard. It’s like having a newborn again bug without the hormonal hell and with us both now working. Also hate the fact that she is in pain and uncomfortable.

@Notascoobie if it's Pepti 1 that's still a whey based formula, she may need an Amino based one instead.

I'd talk to Allergy UKK* and see if they think it might be CMPA. I've always found them very helpful Wink
