Need to work out what irritates my stomach - is there a set plan I can follow?

Hi

I have diagnosed acid issues in my stomach, but for at least ten years at least certain foods really irritate my bowels, and I’m over it!

Is there a plan I can follow where you start on something completely neutral and then introduce foods to try and identify the trigger foods? I was going to start with porridge as my neutral food, but I’d really prefer to follow a set plan.

thanks

Keep a diary and you see a pattern

Thanks - I should have said I’ve tried that but I haven’t been able to work it out that way.

Acid issues?
including reflux up to your throat?

there’s a known list of food stuffs for reflux

Gettingonabitnow · 04/12/2022 18:09

@tanstaafl yes I’ve got oesophigitis (spelt wrong) and erosive gastritis. I’m on PPIs for that. But it’s my bowels really I need to get in top of - bloating, and awful wind.

I can’t work out what sets it off hence wanting to start from scratch and try and identify it.

my original post wasn’t the clearest, trying to bath the kids at the same time!
