Best formula milk for reflux ?

DS 2 is 7 months. Was diagnosed with lactose intolerance very early but has outgrown that now thank goodness and we are off Neocate and on to normal formula. Trouble is he now has reflux ( DS1 had this so recognise the symptoms). Gaviscon and Ranitidine seem to do little for the reflux. Is there a 'heavy' formula that is good for reflux ? Currently we are using aptamil.

Have a look at whether Lidl do a German formula - the German formulas are a lot thicker than ours so that might help.

Have you tried Cow and Gate Comfort? Found it worked quite well in combination with Ranitidine with my DD

SMA stay down - haven't used it personally but have been told it's good.

Can get the Cow and Gate Comfort 2 in most big supermarkets and Boots, although it can be difficult to find in some smaller branches. Although I haven't used it, SMA stay-down is a real faff in preparing and serving and may limit your life somewhat!

I use enfamil AR ((anti reflux)) for my DD who is 5 months old. It definately improved reflux for her but she still has occassional spit up, not much compared to the projectile vomits she was having!
It is only available in chemists, maybe worth a shot!
C&G comfort worked well for my DS but DD got worse on it..they are all so different!!
