Mucousy poops again!

Hello!

Just after a bit of experience from people about my 1 year old DD. She was diagnosed as CMPA at 3.5 weeks and after a couple of weeks of the hydrolysed formula, was moved onto an amino acid formula which worked wonders. She's been weaned DF but so far haven't found any more allergies.
She has tolerated soy absolutely fine thus far.
I switched her to soy growing up milk when she turned one and ever since she's not been herself at all. Lots of tears and night waking. However, since she turned one she's had a tummy bug and cut three teeth so it's not really surprising...!
However, she recovered well from the tummy bug and her poop went back to normal (which is constipation!). She's now started with very loose, frequent mucousy poo. People say that can be due to teething but we never had it with the other 4 teeth coming through. I'm basically trying to work out whether this could be a build up issue and perhaps all the soy milk and soy yogurts are too much for her or whether it really is quite normal for really mucousy teething poops.
The dietician said we could try oat milk when I mentioned she was a bit off since starting soy so we can absolutely do that. But don't want to jump the gun if this is actually totally normal?

She's not really a dribbly baby and thay remains true through teething.

She's not had anything else new and hasn't had any accidental milk exposure.

Thank you!

Can she go back to the original milk? I'm fairly sure 'growing up milk' is just a marketing tactic - it's not allowed to advertise formula for babies (because of encouraging breastfeeding) but growing up milk is allowed to be advertised. It's not better for older kids or anything.

As she's over 1 the dietician wanted her on a milk alternative rather than formula. They recommended the alpro soy growing up milk as it's fortified with extra vitamins etc. It isn't a formula growing up milk if that makes sense! Just the closest nutritional dairy free equivalent of cows milk.

Ah, I see - I'd try the oat milk and see what happens then. Did you tell the dietician about the mucous specifically? It can be a symptom of Crohns and Ulcerative Colitis - which I think is unusual in a small child but probably worth mentioning specifics if you hadn't already.

Hope she feels better soon

Thank you - I'll give the oat milk a go. Her teeth are all now fully through and the poops and wind are only getting worse.
Yeah I've popped them an email so hopefully I'll hear back tomorrow!
Thank you!
