Hello!
I went on holiday at the end of May and became a walking snack for Mosquitoes. I had never experienced this before and I ended up with a very large portion of my body covered in bites. Needless to say i shall be very wary next time I go i holiday now!
Anyway I had one that was so severe I ended up in hospital as it made my arm swell up quite badly. I was given oral antibiotics and some high strength antihistamines but they just seemed to knock me out so I stopped taking them pretty quickly. I was hope by this point anyway so didn't think I would need them and the antibiotics did a great job !
Well it's been over a month and the thing has come back ! It's warm to the touch and quite swollen but it hasn't spread yet. I am worried it might do again. My question is, has anyone else ever experienced this with a bug bite ? This is the first time I've been bitten and it has been this bad. I had a spider bite once that I also had to have antibiotics for. Any shared experiences would be great ! And what did you do to stop the itching !
