White bread

This maybe a strange question but here goes! My friends child has an intolerance to white bread but not brown. As such does anyone know if this child is like to have a similar reaction to pastry made with white flour?

It is probably one of the tens of additives put into white toast more than the white flour.
What about biscuits, pizza, pasta, other foods made with white flour. Does the child have issues with those?

I agree. Look at the ingredients list for most packaged bread. It's seriously grim.

Cheers for the comment's. I immediately came to the same conclusion. Unfortunately I don't really have any other information on the intolerance. Due to the fact that the parents have just been treating it as a gluten allergy, to be on the safe side. Which isn't ideal in my opinion, but equally I understand and also don't won't to be the one to upset his tummy. Bless his heart.

But after these comments I'm going to suggest that we have a day baking. Make some homemade bread with organic ingredients. Possible try doing a best of both type dough. I figure they have to start somewhere. At least he'll learn a life skill at the same time🙂
