My 9 week old had first vaccinations on Tuesday. Thursday night a noticed blood in her stools flowing rota virus vaccination and was sent to the hospitals to rule out a bowel condition which can develop.
This was ruled out however blood continues. She is having lots of dirty nappies and blood seems more.
Allergy was mentioned and when Iook at the symptoms she appears to have some, possible reflux as mentioned by the HV, always snuffly and coughing, a brother with realy bad eczema and hay-fever who is likely lactose intolerant but not been diagnosed just avoids it as is in chronic pain when has it ( he's 21 this is a suprise baby ) very windy all of the time, has the occasional projectile vomit and always noisy breathing
She is OK in her self and gaining weight really well so far and I have only just noticed the blood however wasn't oozing for it until advised to
Is this a side effect of the vaccinations or coincidence that an allergy has come to light now
