Pet allergy

Hi we want to get a small pet
DC, who is 3, is sensitive in general, has a few diagnosed food and pollen allergies. She loves animals and hasn't ever had a reaction when around them (but the longest she has been around one (dog) was half a day).
Before getting a pet, would NHS do pet allergies test (other than cat or dog - we have done those). We do have an allergy appointment scheduled in a few months
