Food allergy

Hi,

Can any one help that has a food allergy?

My daughter who’s 8 years old has been reacting to foods that bring her up in hives, and some occasional lip swelling. We have recently done a blood test and the doctors phoned us to give the result, which are as follows and are grade 0-6.

Eggs grade 2-3
Milk grade 1-2
Wheat grade 1-2
Nuts grade 0-1

The doctors have said they couldn't give any information on what this really means as they’re not an allergy clinic, nor what steps we need to take regarding the results, but advised us to see a private allergy expert as the hospital could not give us an appointment for at least 7 months.

Does anyone know what these results mean?

Does this mean my daughter should avoid all milk, wheat and egg products at all costs? Even when we have tried to avoid everything, sometimes she still comes up in hives, I’m not sure if there is some hidden ingredients in some products. Before the blood results sometimes she would just have milk on its own or wheat, even a boiled egg and hasn’t reacted. I’m so confused. Would a product with all 3 ingredients likely cause her to reacted instead of just one ingredient alone?

Thanks
