Hey!

So my DS is 18 months old come 17th of this month, when turning one he was weaned into cows milk which made him violently sick (still does to this day) so we were told to put him onto soya milk.

Well for months he’s had almost a nettle like rash on his cheeks, they then go bright red (doctor put down to teething) but the last week or so he’s had a really sore bum to the point of needing a steroid cream. She’s told me that she will put him forward for testing but as I’ve done a good diary she thinks it’s a reaction to the soya milk.

What is the next best replacement for him to go on as she couldn’t tell me and told me to wait for the dietician but he likes his bottle at bed time and won’t settle without it?

Oat milk?

I’m at a loss!

My friends baby has CMP and a soya allergy - he has oat milk with no issues

Not sure if you’re giving him chocolate but keep an eye on vegan chocolates - most have soya in them to replace milk

Thank you, I’m out for my shop tonight so I’ll pick some up and see how he goes with that!

Thank you Grin

You could try this. They sell it in Sainsbury’s and Morissons. Mine are allergic to cow’s milk and have oat no bother. Good luck!
