Hi mums!

My 8 months baby gets the Aptamil formula which is a dairy product.

Today he had an omelette that my husband cooked with unsalted butter. 5 minutes after my baby’s face got swelled, as well as his lips and eyes. He also had blisters on his face and red eyes.
We were in the hospital but they said they can't check what caused the allergic reaction.

My baby was exposed to eggs a few times before and everything went well.
The first time he was exposed to proper dairy food was this butter today. All the previous exposition were the formula (from the first day of his life).

My question is (if someone knows) - Doesn't the fact that he gets a dairy formula mean that he is not allergic to milk/dairy?

Thanks
