So, our 7 year old daughter consistently wakes up with runny nose, and sneezing, and it’s debilitating and generally an unpleasant start to every day, she’s drowsy at school and she’s falling behind and we can not seem to get to the bottom of this. We know she suffers from dust mites and we’ve been prescribed everything from cortisone creams and alergex tablets, nasal drops and nothing seems to work, surely we can’t be the only parents out there on a similar position! Any advice please?

My kids and I are both like this. We just get in with it tbh.

We had friends, both husband and child with the same problem. Each morning it would be the same drill and a genuinely miserable start to the day with itchy eyes, wheezy chest and sneezing. They found success in servicing their mattresses ie: having allergens removed from their mattress. The CleanMyBed service removed dust mites, their fecal matter and everything else that caused the issues.

Thanks Cameo I knew we couldn’t be alone! TBH our allergist did stress that maintaining a clean bed was a good place to start, so this makes sense. But we wash sheets and linen regularly like everyone else so what are the allergens?

Getting on with it is simply not a solution any more it’s exhausting for all of us and really affecting her grades
