I have been given epimax isomol and it’s making my eczema worse. I come out in hives within 10 mins of using it.

Please can anyone recommend another emollient that won’t do this ? My eczema is awful at the moment xxx

So sorry you're struggling @createausernamee.

Have you managed to find an alternative yet?

Vaseline.
I know many people have strong views against it because of influencers on social media saying it's not natural but every single dermatologist and paediatrician I have ever met (my entire family has eczema) has recommended it as number 1 for moisturisers. It's hypoallergenic, easy to find, inexpensive and effective.
There are many more products you can try but not many tick all those boxes.
Hope that helps!

50:50 ointment. Has no additives

... it's paraffin, white soft paraffin. Prescribed by dermatologist, but can be bought at chemist.

Have you had a referral to the Allergy Clinic? I know you probably have but just wanted to mention it as it was transformative for me. I had a couple of mildish reactions, I cut out the goods they were on abs hey presto, the eczema that had driven me crazy for a few years just vanished.

maybe something aloe very based
ceateryl alcohol is often the cause of irritation with creams
