talcum powder - no cream
It's just dribble

But some bibs with plastic backs and keep them on all the time
I think you can get them from boots. Not many places sell them which is rubbish, because fabric ones are useless and get the baby's chest all wet and cold (rant over!)

talc works a treat - just not too much

I disagree, thrush loves talc, i wouldnt use talc.
a thin layer of either sudocrem or vaasaline as a barrier. stress teddy is right about the dribble.
my boy had thrush at this age under his chin.
i cant remember if i used a bit of canestan.....you need to check with pharmasist.
till then make sure it is properly dry after baths, dont use baby wipes, just plain water and soft towel, then put a spot of barier cream on.

I agree with bit of sudocrem or vaseline. I would also check with GP or pharmacist as it could be eczema/fungal/ etc.

dd has a similar problem and it is difficult to get into her neck folds as like a lot of babies their age she is quite chubby.

I love Sudocrem but for some reason it made this area worse - but it's great for her bottom.

I am just very vigilant about washing and drying this area twice a day if you can. I found the plastic backed bibs worse as if they bunch up in the same area they make it more sweaty. However Ladybird do them (from Woolworths) if they suit your ds.

Another vote here for sudocreme.
