Introducing egg after peanut allergy?

We’ve just discovered a peanut allergy in my 6 month old after first taste of peanut butter. Hives and vomiting, breathing ok, observed at hospital for a while, now we have an epipen and waiting for allergy clinic referral. My question is now about introducing other allergens. At hospital they said to avoid nuts until after allergy clinic but other things like eggs are ok. Advice seemed a little off the cuff though. I keep going back and forth - is it better to go ahead and cautiously introduce egg, since I’ve seen that it’s better to introduce things early to avoid allergies? Or is it kind of too late for that now and we should just wait until the allergy clinic? I’m worried it will be a month or so before we actually see anyone - but again maybe it doesn’t matter. I’ve seen that kids with egg allergies are more likely to have peanut allergies - I can’t find much about the other way around but I guess it’s the same? Any experiences/advice on introducing other allergens after peanut allergy already detected would be much appreciated!
