DS has very low iron - 6 and ferritin 17. He also has yellowing teeth, what was diagnosed as eczema but they're not sure if it's eczema or a different form of atopic dermatitis now. He's a good eater and doesn't have any obvious blood in stool symptoms, doesn't show any signs of stomach ache, eats everything and is big weight wise for his age so no concerns there.
However we are being investigated for celiac due to the above and the fact he also gets regular low grade fevers of around 38. I wondered if anyone else had had similar? It hadn't occurred to me because he's such a good eater and shows no sign of distress or discomfort after eating, and has a good appetite/hasn't lost weight.
