Toddler Eczema

DS has had eczema on his legs and tummy for weeks now. It doesn’t bother him but it looks bad. I’m wondering if it’s a slight intolerance/allergy to something and considering swapping his cows milk to an alternative for a short period to see if it settles down. Any recommendations? 😀

I would recommend not changing to a plant based milk without seeing a doctor and getting a referral for allergy tests.

Children with eczema are more prone to food allergies as you may know, did he have issues as a baby with this too?

Your best bet is keeping a food diary, seeing and documenting reactions to any of the 11 allergen foods - how quick was there a reaction, how long did it last, what was the reaction, and then seeing the GP to start off.

Plant based milks do not have the same nutritional value as cow's milk so hence I'd steer clear from experimenting with substitutions unless you're advised to do so medically.
