I am not sure whether this belongs in food or allergies so i am going to post it in both!
Dd is 6 months old and has very dry skin, however only last week did I notice her scratching it. A couple of days later her first too th appeared and I was reassured that it was probably due to teething.
I became worried lat night when her skin appeared to 'flare up'. It was probably about an hour after her tea of banana with freshly squeezed orange juice and greek yoghurt which she loves, but her chest and tummy became red and hot as did her face became blotchy. The thing is she didn't seem distressed but by the time it came to having her bath she was also very itchy although her face had calmed down. I have slapped aqueous cream all over her and have been doing for a while now and I thought it was getting better, until last night.
I would really appreciate some advice please.

I take it she's had banana, oj and yogurt before on several occasions? I would avoid these for a few days to see if her skin calms down. Has she had any other new foods today? Seen cats / dogs etc? Aqueous cream can cause problems - some people are allergic to it so perhaps leave this off too and try another emolient. Might be a good idea to talk to your gp too.
