12 year old - funny issues, possibly celiac

Hi

Son Is 12 and after eating he goes to the loo about 4 times (Diarrhoea) sometimes will blood shows after the has been.

Very smelly / gassy

Celiac runs in the family

Had one blood test back but they want to test again after I mentioned I thought it couid be this.

He is v fussy and diet consists of a lot of wholeneal pasta and bread.

Also awaiting stool test results.

Celiac disease runs in my family as well and he is certainly ticking all the boxes for it.
Does he have growth issues? Is he small or slim?

Another thing to consider is that blood tests can come back with false negatives with diagnosis. In this cases an endoscopy is needed for diagnosis.

Poor lad it must be tough for him. Dont take him off gluten untill after the tests.

Re growth - he is one of the smaller boys in the year and no where near puberty as yet.

Yes I had read not to cut out gluten until tested.

Today has been better like it's fizzling out again like it did a couple of weeks ago - really odd.
